Through Direct Medical Network Solutions, Inc. and contracted large provider networks, members have access to medical doctors, chiropractors, dentists, diagnostic imaging and laboratory services, vision and hearing care. A variety of medically related services are also available such as: prescription drugs, consultations with medical doctors and therapists, diabetic care, emergency medical evacuation, emergency travel assistance, medical record storage and retrieval, 24 hour nurse hotline, eldercare support services, and professionals who will help resolve billings with medical providers.

Physician & Hospital Network Savings - Members can maximize benefits and save money when utilizing physicians, medical facilities and hospitals that are part of the Physician & Hospital Provider Network consisting of over 350,000 physicians and hospitals across the country.  When utilizing a network provider, members experience savings of 5% to 40%.

Call MD - Provides a nationwide network of medical doctors available for consultation and, if appropriate, for the prescription of non-narcotic medicines at any time of the night or day.

Chiropractic & Complementary Alternative Medicine - Members have access to one of the largest integrated networks of chiropractors and other top-qualified complementary alternative medicine practitioners in the United States.  Membership savings range between 5% and 30%.

Dental - Members have access to almost all forms of required dentistry through a nationwide network of over 73,000 providers with services including:  routine checkups, cleanings, fillings, crowns, orthodontics, and more.  Members can save an average of 10%, with savings ranging from 5% to 40%.

Discount Pharmacy - Members have access to discounts on prescriptions through a network of over 50,000 participating pharmacies. The network includes national chains, local chains and independent pharmacies.  Savings average 15% for brand name drugs and 45% for generic drugs over network pharmacies usual and customary prices.

Diabetic Care - Members are eligible for participation in our diabetic care program which offers savings on diabetic products that could total up to hundreds of dollars every year.  The program includes a full line of state-of-the art glucose meters, test strips, lancets and oral diabetic medications.

Diagnostic Imaging and Lab - Member savings range between 20%-70% off the usual price on lab work and imaging including ultrasound, bone scan and electromyography.

Hearing Savings - Members have access to the Hearing Care Program provided by the largest provider of hearing health care services and products in North America.  Discounts on hearing care services and products including audiologist exams and hearing aids are available at over 1,600 locations throughout the U.S.  Members receive 30% savings on hearing exams and services and 30% to 62% savings on hearing aids.

Vision Care - Members can save 15% to 45% off the retail price of eyewear with the vision care discount program.  Discounts are available on exams, eyeglasses and contact lenses from more than 40,000 providers nationwide.  Discounts are available on Laser Vision Correction also.

Lifeguard Support - Members are eligible for free, unlimited telephone counseling services at no cost.  Simply call the toll-free number to access masters-level counselors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Lifeguard Support for Eldercare - This telephone-based (toll-free) information and referral service is designed to assist senior and family members in finding resources, answers and support necessary to meet and plan for the challenges of aging.

Medifile - Medifile is the personal medical records solution that gives fast, secure telephone access to a member’s complete medical records, whenever needed.  Medifile professionally maintains and releases a member’s vital medical information safely and conveniently with the member’s authorization.

24-Hour Nurse Hotline - This telephone service allows a member to ask questions about their health, illness or medications.  This proven comprehensive health information plan combines confidential, non-directive health care decision counseling from nurses with credentialed medical information.

Patient Advocacy - Members have access to a service called Patient Advocacy which can provide tremendous help and reassurance when faced with large medical bills.  The service links members to negotiating professionals who help resolve billing from medical providers.

Identity Theft Protection - Protection is provided for specified expenses due to the theft of a member’s identity.

Emergency Travel Assistance - Members have access to a worldwide network of medical and travel assistance personnel when traveling.  Travel assistance and emergency medical evacuation services are available when traveling over 100 miles from home and faced with a serious injury or illness or a travel related emergency.  All medical services are provided based on medical necessity, which is determined by Lifeguard’s program medical advisor in collaboration with the eligible member’s attending physician.  Assistance services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, worldwide.
